When I’m tired, or hungry, or sad, or angry. When I’m out of sorts or spinning or transforming.
When I forget myself, or forget where I’m standing, even when I forget you.
Please just listen.
When you feel like running away, or fighting, or showing me how I could be different, when you feel your body tighten against what is expressing through me, please in those fleeting moments, open your heart to me. Please risk it, open your heart and listen.
It’s a practice. Let’s practice together. When you forget, I will remember you-
and when I forget, you can remember me.
And what’s on the other side- true intimacy.
